Village Park
Building No. 3 located at the Village Park Business Center in Williamsville, NY, required an HVAC system capable of office-to-office zone control and energy conservation in unoccupied spaces. Danforth installed a Direct Digital Control system for monitoring and controlling temperature, humidity and ventilation. The system includes individual room thermostats, heat pump sensors, mechanical equipment and scheduling of sector lighting. Continuous heating and cooling is provided by the tempered water system consisting of two boilers, two chilled water air conditioning units, a number of air handling units, three energy recovery units and over two miles of piping. Danforth engineers and project management worked closely with the building ownership to improve on an earlier HVAC system plan.
