October Apprentice Highlight

Published Date – Oct 17, 2014

Buffalo Welder Sean Comerford is the Apprentice Highlight for October 2014. Sean has been with Danforth for quite some time. He is currently a 5th year apprentice who spent 2 years in our Buffalo fabrication shop as a tradesman.

Sean and his team have just finished a job at Como Park Elementary School located in Lancaster, NY. He is now working at the Buffalo VA Hospital installing chilled water piping and new steam lines. During his time at Danforth, Sean has worked on keynote projects such as Gates Vascular Institute and ECMC. Sean said he enjoys working at Danforth because, “everyday brings something new and challenging.” Sean hopes to continue working his way up in the company to someday manage crews and run jobs.

Sean earned the October Highlight by being mindful of safety on the jobsite. His personal approach to safety extends past OSHA standards and Company Policy; he said the most important part of his plan is to, “look ahead and have a work plan for everyday at every job.”
