November Apprentice Highlight

Published Date – Nov 17, 2014

Rochester Pipefitter Adam Rogers is the Apprentice Highlight for November 2014. Adam is a 2nd year apprentice who has been part of the Danforth Team for 10 months. During his time with Danforth, Adam has been on several job sites fulfilling different roles.

Currently, Adam is working at the Monroe County Civic Center located in Downtown Rochester, NY. Adam is enjoying his time on the job because he gets the opportunity to do a variety of things including building an air handling unit on site and replacing the existing water fixtures with new highly efficient, low flow fixtures. Before working on the Civic Center, Adam worked on the Monroe County Jail as well as Arkema Inc. When asked what his favorite part about working at Danforth is he said, “I like working with the people we have. They understand what it takes to get the job done.” Adam also included job site safety as one of the perks of working for Danforth. He diligently follows OSHA safety standards and company policy to stay safe.

As Adam continues to gain experience, he would like to assume a leadership role on future projects and aspires to become a project foreman. When Adam is not on the job site you can find him outdoors. He enjoys hunting, fishing and golf (when the weather cooperates).
