Danforth has been awarded the $16+ million mechanical contract for the new 94,000 ft² Lago Casino & Resort. The new facility will be built in Tyre, NY which is located in the Finger Lakes Region of the state. The plans to build were approved by the State on December 17, 2014.
The facility will be a one-stop vacation spot located right here in New York. It will include hotel, gaming and entertainment venues, a gourmet steakhouse, food court, buffet, and an assortment of bar and lounge areas. As part of our contract, we will be working with Wilmorite to install the very best in heating and cooling technology to meet their goal of providing an extremely comfortable experience for guests.
We are proud to be a part of this project because of all that it gives back to the local community and state as a whole. Aside from bringing in millions of visitors to the region, the Casino & Resort will create nearly 1,800 permanent jobs in town. In addition, the facility will generate an estimated $83.9 million in NYS Gaming Taxes annually.
Stay tuned for progress reports on this impressive project.
