March Apprentice Highlight

AJ Criscone, Capital Region Sheet Metal Apprentice, has been awarded the Apprentice Highlight for the month of March. He is a 5th year apprentice with the Local 83 and began his career with Tougher Industries and has made a positive impact here at Danforth. AJ has gained valuable experience on jobsites throughout the Capital Region and has also trained in our Albany Fabrication Facility.

AJ was recognized as this month’s Apprentice Highlight for his work on the Ferguson Distribution Center located in Coxsackie, NY. He was integral to planning, material ordering and the execution of the HVAC and plumbing contract as part of the new 460,000 ft² facility.

AJ is a certified stainless steel welder and is currently working in our Capital Region Fabrication Facility. Here, he is using his skills to prefabricate materials for the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory located in Niskayuna, NY. During his time at Danforth, AJ has also worked on an HVAC rehabilitation effort for Omni Development located in Albany, NY.

AJ has proven himself to be a leader on the job and one day hopes to become a Foreman in the future.
