Robert Beck Elected to MCAA Board of Directors

Help Danforth congratulate Robert Beck on his recent election to the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Board of Directors. The MCAA is responsible for providing its members with education and leadership training specific to mechanical contracting.  This comes after years of active participation and service to both the national and local chapters of the group.

At the national level, Robert has been a member of the MCAA’s Project Managers Education Committee since 2005. He is a graduate of the Institute for Project Management (IPM), Advanced Institute for Project Management (AIPM) and Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI). After completion, Robert has instructed both the IPM and AIPM programs while co-developing new educational materials for “Managing Project Fabrication.”

Robert has a large presence on the local level as well. He has held numerous positions throughout his membership of the Western New York Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors (PMCA). Additionally, Robert has been involved in the Piping and Service Industry Coalition Committee, Western New York MEP Trade Tripartite Committee and the New York State Pipe Trades Fund.

Robert has been with Danforth since 1993. His first job with us focused him on business development and project management where he learned the business from the ground up. Now, Robert serves as our Executive Vice President and is responsible for Danforth’s strategic direction. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and serves on Danforth’s Board of Directors.
