Buffalo’s Kevin Laurendi has been recognized by his colleagues and has earned the Power of Our People Award. This award is given to those who display a passion for their work, their company and the industry. Kevin embodies these qualities everyday at Danforth.

Kevin is a vital part of the Buffalo Estimating Team and is responsible for a wide array of critical tasks that support Danforth’s estimators. Kevin works diligently to ensure bid forms and documents are completed with accurate information, making Danforth eligible to be selected for a variety of projects. He was nominated for the Power of Our People Award for his accuracy on bid day and his consistent willingness to help others. Kevin also takes the initiative to provide the Buffalo estimators with IT support. Kevin’s efficiency improves the productivity of everyone in the department.

Kevin was nominated by Buffalo estimators John Librera and Ed Dudkowski. Kevin’s colleagues stressed how important he is to the department. Ed wrote in his nomination, “Kevin is an integral part of the estimating department and deserved credit for much of our success.” Both John and Ed agree that Kevin goes above and beyond every day to make sure his department is taken care of.

About the Power of Our People Award

Danforth has been an industry leader since 1884. We have strategically invested in physical assets such as office space across New York State, over 100,000 ft² of fabrication space, a large vehicle fleet and state-of-the-art tools to deliver the highest quality projects to our customers.

However, our most important asset is our people.

The Power of Our People Award is given to those who go beyond the call of duty day-in and day-out. Without our people and their commitment to excellence, Danforth would not be a best in class contractor that it is known as in the market. At Danforth, we believe in the Power of Our People and recognizing our employees for their hard work and dedication. We are committed to investing in our employees to develop them professionally and personally so that the legacy of our founder, John W. Danforth, can live on for the next 132 years and beyond.
