Danforth’s Newest Senior Project Manager

Former Capital Region Project Manager, Eric Chapin, has been promoted to Senior Project Manager. He has over 20+ years in the mechanical industry beginning as a pipefitter in 1993. Eric has worked throughout New York State on many large mechanical construction projects in various capacities prior to joining Danforth.
Upon joining the company as a Project Manager in June of 2014, Eric has participated in the construction of several GlobalFoundries projects such as the TDC Building, DCUB project and the Advanced Lithography project. He will continue to be responsible for mechanical contracts at GlobalFoundries and to represent Danforth as a collaborative trade partner in the implementation of the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) & Lean Construction initiative currently underway at GlobalFoundries.
Eric is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds two Associate Degrees from SUNY Adirondack and SUNY Morrisville. Eric is a registered Engineer in Training (EIT) in New York State.
