Rochester’s Tyler Fitzpatrick is Promoted

Published Date – Aug 11, 2017

Danforth’s Tyler Fitzpatrick has been promoted to Rochester Shop Manager. Tyler has been with Danforth since 2014 where he began as a shop driver and tool mechanic. From there, Tyler began managing the fabrication side of the shop by coordinating union labor, collaborating with Project Managers on fabrication projects, and ordering materials. Tyler’s expertise made him an integral part of the recent opening of our High Purity Stainless Steel and Plastics Fabrication Facility. This 17,600 ft² facility has a fully operational 4,000 ft² ISO Class 6 cleanroom for high purity fabrication that is used in the semiconductor, photonics, healthcare, and food & beverage markets to name a few. Tyler has managed to keep cleanliness levels up to code while organizing and managing work done in the shop.

In his new role as Shop Manager, Tyler’s responsibilities include a number of tasks such as ensuring all work is done in the safest possible manner, coordinating all Rochester shops for fabrication assignment and manpower needs, and implementing the most efficient processes and tooling in the shops to maximize productivity. Tyler will also be in charge of collaborating with the Corporate QA/QC Manager to ensure all shop personnel remain current with QA/QC procedures. In his new position he will be accountable for the Rochester Pipe Fabrication Shops (including Carbon, Copper, and Stainless), Tools Shop, and Deliveries. Tyler has worked hard and continues to openly accept new challenges and responsibilities.

Please join us in congratulating Tyler and supporting him in his new role!
