Danforth Hosts Baby Shower in Support of the United Way
On Tuesday May 8, Danforth’s Buffalo office held a baby shower in support of the United Way. Each year in Erie County, thousands of babies are born into poverty, with many expectant mothers receiving very little or no pre-natal care.
The United Way baby shower is a community-wide effort to collect essential baby items that will help at-risk mothers give their newborns a stronger start and a healthy beginning to their lives. Our staff collected essential items such as diapers, baby wipes, baby shampoo, conditioner & soap, digital thermometers, creams, clothing and much more!
