Danforth Donates $10,000 to the Mohawk Valley Health System Foundation
John W. Danforth Company recently made a $10,000 donation to the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Foundation. The donated contribution will be used to support a number of different programs that the Foundation supports throughout the year, including Stomp Out Cancer, The Children’s Miracle Network, The MVHS Golf Outing, Lights of Love and The Women’s Giving Circle. These programs additionally support advancements in technology, software and education in the healthcare system, along with tools and equipment in the rehab centers, the NICU units, trauma rooms and much more.
Patrick W. McParlane, Executive Vice President of John W. Danforth Company, was on hand to present the donation to MVHS Staff. “For the past 135 years, John W. Danforth Company has initiated community engagement in every facet where we have established a presence. With our roots set in the Central New York Region, it was important for our organization to integrate and invest in the community through the Mohawk Valley Health System Foundation. The Foundation is about helping the community; the people right in our own backyard with treatments, care and a level of comfort in their times of need. We are proud to support the MVHS Foundation and continue our vision to build meaningful relationships from coast to coast,” he said.
