EPC’s & Indoor Air Quality on Danforth’s Agenda at the WNY Facilities Management Expo

Rich Carrow, Air Filtration Account Manager and David Jager, Energy Account Executive will both be presenting at the Western New York’s Facilities Management Expo taking place at the Hamburg Fair Grounds on October 23rd.
Carrow’s presentation “Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) & HVAC Maintenance Best Practices” begins at 1:15 pm in Meeting Room 2 and will focus on:

  • Components of IAQ
  • Human impact on IAQ
  • HVAC impact on IAQ
  • Common short falls in HVAC maintenance
  • Best practices for managing HVAC Systems

With over 20 years’ experience in IAQ, air flow and filtration, Carrow brings a wealth of knowledge to helping Facility Managers understand the best needs for their buildings. Carrow is a Certified Air Filtration Specialist and is NAFA Certified Technician Level II who specializes in air filtration product knowledge, indoor air quality initiatives and management plans for commercial spaces.

Carrow’s main goal is to make Facility Managers aware of understanding proactive maintenance for indoor air quality and how it has an impact on your facility’s environmental surroundings.

Jager’s presentation “A Guide to Energy Performance Contracting (EPC)” begins at 2:15 pm in Meeting Room 2 and will focus on:

  • Understanding what an EPC is and how it works
  • Typical Facility Improvement Measures
  • Financial considerations
  • Combining Capital Projects with an EPC

Jager’s main goal of this presentation is to help Facility Managers recognize how an EPC can enhance your facility by targeting pain points and concerns with an understanding of the operational energy savings these project can provide.

With nearly 25 years of client relations and service experience, Jager knows the importance of investigating options and providing a number of solutions that would best meet a customer’s needs.
