Eric Klaffka Named to National Innovative Technologies Committee
Danforth’s Senior Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Manager, Eric Klaffka, has been appointed to the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Innovative Technologies Committee. This Committee term is for one calendar year, which started in March 2023 for Klaffka.
“Technology and innovation are reshaping the way our industry operates, from the office to the shop to the field,” Klaffka said. “Being part of this important committee with a national focus is an honor. Together with fellow MCAA members from across the country, and working in collaboration with other industry leaders, I hope the to help the committee provide meaningful resources to contractors and companies who, like Danforth, embrace, lead and implement important changes and advancements.”
As Senior VDC Manager at Danforth, Klaffka is responsible for software management, process, modeling coordination and assignment of VDC projects. In addition, he is responsible for layout coordination and fabrication of HVAC and plumbing systems on projects, and creates project drawings and documents. Klaffka has been part of the VDC management team at Danforth since 2009, and has more than 30 years’ experience in VDC services.
MCAA is a nationwide industry association serving the needs of approximately 2,600 firms involved in heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, piping, and mechanical service. The organization provides its members high-quality education programs and materials to help them attain the highest level of managerial and technical expertise. Danforth is a founding member of MCAA.
