John W. Danforth Company (Danforth) has been selected by Buffalo Business First as a finalist for WNY’s Healthiest Employers for 2023.

This award honors WNY companies that provide the best health and wellness benefits for their employees.

Danforth offers a year-round Power of Wellness initiative that focuses on health and wellbeing. Throughout the year employees are encouraged to participate in wellness events including the Whole Life Challenge to kick off the new year, Environmental wellness, Mental Health awareness, Heart Health awareness, Financial wellness and Maintain Don’t Gain during the holiday season time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s.

Danforth is one of five companies in the X-Large category with 500-1,499 employees.

“We are honored to be a finalist as one of WNY Healthiest Employers. Our HR Team has worked so hard to build and enhance our wellness program companywide. We have had great participation from fellow employee owners and we all support each other in achieving our wellness goals,” said Samantha Pommer, HR Specialist.
