A Very Special Power of Our People Award Recognition
Hazel Robinson always has a smile on her face every single day when she comes to Danforth. When you arrive at the office, you can always expect a friendly hello from Hazel, along with a smile and hug -she’s been the official “Director of Positive Attitudes” for the past 15 years.
This morning, Hazel’s kindness and positive attitude was recognized with the Power of Our People Award. She was nominated by Matt Peters, who said that she was deserving of this recognition after she made him feel better after a bad day.
“I was having a crummy day and was not in the best mood. But, that all turned around when Hazel stopped over with a huge smile on her face, gave me a hug and told me to have a good day,” Peters said.
“The light bulb then went off – Hazel has been putting smiles on the faces of everyone at Danforth for the last 15 years. No matter what kind of day you are having, when you get a visit from Hazel, it always makes you feel much better. She truly deserves her moment to be recognized.”
