Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist’s role is to design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the company services and products for Danforth in all geographic areas. This position requires and in-depth knowledge of Danforth’s services and market goals. Proficiency in graphic design, web development, and social media is key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop, manage, and design layouts of communications, including:
    • Digital/Print Mailer Campaigns
    • Event support materials
    • Case Studies
    • Presentations
    • Line Cards
  • Work with Marketing Manager on development of various proposals and RFQ’s – including template design
  • Work with Marketing Manager in planning, development, and execution of programs and campaigns, with strong emphasis on digital initiatives including website strategy and design, social media, and deliverables
  • Interfacing with marketing communication functions, including PR, events, and mail campaigns
  • Take the lead with ongoing management of digital touch points, including all websites, social media, and digital mail campaigns
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives and schedules with Marketing Manager
  • Own and maintain website analytics, metrics, and digital campaign reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO and adwords programs
  • Present recommendations and ideas to Marketing Manager

Qualifications & Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field required
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and digital production
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting managers and sales personnel
  • Proven experience delivering a variety of digital assets, including website graphics, micro-sites, and presentations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in online marketing tools including MailChimp, SendGrid, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, WordPress, Social Media
  • Solid understanding of website metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
  • Experience delivering digital campaigns for core products and services
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff of other parts of the company
  • Ability to multi task on various projects/needs
  • Ability to work flexible hours from time to time to meet proposal deadlines
  • Experience within the Construction Industry preferred
