Position Summary:
The Service Sales & Operations Intern will be a member of the Service Organization. The Intern will be responsible for learning and modeling the Standard Operating Procedures of the Sales and Service teams. The Intern will rotate between the Sales and Operations areas. |
Primary Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Directly work with the sales team in developing new prospects and following through the entire sales cycle. Attend sales to operations turnover and follow the process through field executionResearch competitor pricing, services, and marketing initiativesAttend Sales meetings both internally and with external prospects. Assist Sales Manager with tasks in the sales processObtain subcontractor and supplier pricing. Build estimateAssist Marketing and Sales Manager with proposal development, content creation and other projectsAttend site tours with Project Management teams, participate in sales meetings and service team meetings.Create excel and word documents. Assist with Powerpoint presentations. Review Service reports and identify poor performing work. Analyze information in GP for root-cause.As requested, perform customer quality calls and provide quality control feedback to service teamOrganize digital and hard copy file systemsSupport the HVAC Service Manager and team with all administrative needs Other duties as needed |
Experience & Requirements:
Must be willing to learn and ask questions as needed to understand workDetail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignmentsGood computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and general software navigation.Excellent customer service skills including effective verbal and written communicationAbility to work collaboratively to create results driven, team oriented environmentWillingness to wear PPE with the ability to climb ladders and walk on building roofs to obtain equipment informationAbility to tolerate hot/cold weather conditions |
Education:
Enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university majoring in a Business Program
