Jason Strickle

Vice President and Market Sales Manager, Acquisition

Jason is the Vice President and Market Sales Manager for Danforth’s Columbus, Ohio regional office. He is responsible for overseeing both business development and operational functions as Danforth continues a pattern of growth in the Ohio market. As market sales manager, Jason works to cultivate new client relationships and assist the estimating team in identifying new opportunities for Danforth. Jason also leads the Columbus team’s construction operations, with responsibilities ranging from P&L accountability for all projects, coordination with the VDC and fabrication departments, client relationship management, fiscal reporting, and employee development and training.

Jason joined the John W. Danforth Company in February 2020 and brings over 25 years of mechanical industry experience to the team. Having begun his career in the field as a pipefitting/plumbing apprentice, Jason worked his way through the ranks to become superintendent, then fabrication manager and finally labor manager. The invaluable experience and knowledge he gained through the day-to-day field operations enabled him to transition into estimating and preconstruction roles for a large Central Ohio contractor. In his previous role, he oversaw the preconstruction process including client relationship management, business development and procurement strategy, estimating, and VDC planning. Throughout his career he has been involved with many large scale and complex projects with clients such as The Ohio State University, the federal government including the Veterans Administration and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Franklin County Correctional Center, and global corporate data centers.

Jason is a former member of the UA and has participated in leadership training through the Builders Exchange Institute in conjunction with OSU Fisher School of Business. He holds CQM Army Corps of Engineer certification and FMI Labor Efficiency Training certification.
