Vice President, Human Resources & General Counsel
As Danforth’s Vice President of Human Resources and General Counsel, Wendy is responsible for all legal and human resources matters of the company. She takes pride in being a trusted business advisor and partner to her Danforth colleagues and providing legal counsel on a variety of issues that impact the business. In addition, Wendy oversees all aspects of human resources at Danforth. She is responsible for leading all strategic HR initiatives companywide and developing practices and policies that focus on Danforth’s most valued resource, its employee owners. Wendy takes tremendous pride in promoting Danforth’s Mission, Vision and core values in every aspect of her role. After joining Danforth as Senior Contract and Risk Manager in 2017, Wendy was promoted to General Counsel and Human Resources Director in 2019. With over 20 years of experience in the legal and human resources fields, Wendy’s integrated background and expertise brings a unique and valuable perspective to Danforth.
Wendy received her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and B.A. from University at Buffalo. She serves as a Committee Member of Women in the Mechanical Industry (WiMI), part of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), and is a Mentor in WiMI’s Mentorship Program. Wendy is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, the Bar Association of Erie County, and the Niagara Frontier Corporate Counsel Association.
