The project was a new build of the Regional Federal Courts Building. The Danforth Team utilized BIM technology to map out and virtually build the courthouse. This gave the team a look into the future to detect any clash among the building systems before the groundbreaking. The building houses standard HVAC and plumbing systems that were installed by Danforth. Danforth had to implement its TSI field layout tool because the building is not square. The Danforth team served as the “single solution provider” for all problems relating to HVAC and plumbing on the project.

Danforth self-preformed balancing services that led to the identification of mechanical system design deficiencies.  Subsequent services included redesigning of sequence of operations for the building automation system to provide proper mechanical operations and pressurization of building spaces.
