A P P R O A C H
Danforth’s scope of work for this project included demolishing existing boilers from the basement of the mechanical room. The Danforth team then furnished and installed new boilers and heating accessories. Equipment used for the project includes Unilux boilers and feedwater tank, Eclipse gas pressure booster, Bell and Gossett vacuum condensate pump, and a Lochinvar electric hot water heater.
The Danforth team faced some challenges along the way, including a tight schedule. Boilers were taken out of service on May 15, 2015, and needed to be up and running by October 15, 2015.

The results of the project were successful, and the boilers were up in time. The Danforth team stayed within the labor, materials, and overall project budget, and a good work relationship was developed with the owner that has resulted in additional work direct.
