As one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Northeast, Danforth has the expertise, manpower, and resources to deliver turnkey solutions to our customers. Mechanical construction is where Danforth began when we were founded, and since then, we . have developed innovative mechanical construction services that are on the cutting edge in our industry.

Danforth operates several fabrication facilities across New York State. We use the resources of our fabrication facilities to help enhance construction projects we are executing, and we can provide fabrication services to clients outside of our company. Our team operates pipe and sheet metal shops in Buffalo; the Rochester region maintains a pipe shop as well as a dedicated stainless steel and high-purity fabrication shop; finally, the Capital Region facility hosts a pipe and sheet metal shop.  With over 140,000 square feet of fabrication space, our shops are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and experienced tradesmen who fabricate materials in a controlled environment, helping promote increased efficiency and project cost savings.

At Danforth, we take a holistic approach to a facility’s life cycle with an emphasis on servicing mechanical equipment that supports the building’s operation. Our customers will tell you that this performance is directly correlated to equipment maintenance. Our team offers a diverse collection of comprehensive commercial and environmental maintenance services that are designed to help save our customers time and money. We also provide 24 HR emergency service in each of the regions in which we operate.

Danforth Energy self-executes a wide variety of facility improvement measures including mechanical upgrades, lighting enhancement, street lighting upgrades, building controls, and building envelope improvements. We also offer Energy Performance Contracts to help our clients pay for the necessary facilities improvements costs through energy savings.

Danforth continues to expand its mechanical service offerings in New York State. In addition to our core mechanical services, we offer cleanroom and laboratory design as well as national distribution of air filters and other filtration products to serve more of our clients’ needs. We will continue to add to these as our clients require.
