The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus has expanded with the construction of Conventus. This facility, located in downtown Buffalo, is home to medical offices and laboratory space.

approach

Danforth provided mechanical expertise for both the core and shell of the building. Our Team installed closed circuit coolers, multiple boilers, heat pumps and custom air handling units. Aside from installation, Danforth assisted the engineer with the design of the mechanical systems and provided balancing services as part of our Integrated Project Delivery Model.

results

This project was challenging due to the mid-project addition of the 7th floor laboratory space. The expert coordination of the Project Team allowed Danforth to adapt to the new equipment requirements without major interruption.
