Danforth was awarded the plumbing and HVAC project for Greatbatch’s new corporate and research and development headquarters.

approach

The Danforth team utilized their sheet metal shop to help cut project costs by fabricating all sheet metal utilized during the project. Not only is this advantageous to cutting cost, it also assures that the sheet metal is crafted with Danforth quality. Danforth also applied its CADD specialists to plan all piping before actual installation. This provided a chance to correct any problems that may have emerged in the planning stage instead of during the installation process.

results

Due to the proactive problem solving mentality of the John W. Danforth Company, the project was completed without major problems or delay. Danforth stands by their work and takes pride in a doing the project correctly the first time, helping save Greatbatch cost and ensure quality work was being done.
