QuaDPharma, now Athenex Pharma Solutions, required additional critical environment spaces for manufacturing, processing and packaging pharmaceutical products. Danforth was hired to design and build the 4,500 square foot general cleanroom and laboratory areas, as well as a 256 square foot hardwall and a 128 square foot softwall cleanroom.

Danforth designed and installed a new ISO Class 8 HVAC system complete with HEPA filtration for the general cleanroom area. The laboratory area installation included a chemical fume hood exhaust system, fume hood airflow monitor, and balancing of the laboratory systems. Additionally, our team completed balancing and certification of the cleanroom and all equipment within it.

These additions provided valuable new spaces for QuaDPharma to continue executing their services. After QuaDPharma was acquired by Athenex Pharma Solutions, Danforth was selected to perform annual certification of the Cleanrooms to ISO 14644 Standards, thanks to the outstanding work we performed on the original project.
