Danforth was awarded the mechanical contract for renovations to be done on the Monroe County Civic Center, located in downtown Rochester, NY. The main focus of the project was to upgrade the facility’s control systems.

approach

Operating out of our Victor, NY office, Danforth upgraded the control systems throughout the parking garage as well as the adjoining structures. The team upgraded the carbon dioxide detectors, removed the existing hot and cold water control valves, and replaced them with new ones. The scope of work also included upgrading the meter, control panels and control dampers, starting in the parking garage and branching out through the Civic Center.

The upgraded controls in the Civic Center add comfort to the building’s occupants and improve the efficiency of the facility.
