Due to previous performance excellence at the Malta campus, Danforth was selected to be a member of the Cub-D CPD (Collaborative Project Delivery) Team.

approach

Working in collaboration with the design team, Danforth assisted in a fast-track design development of the HVAC Piping & Ductwork, Process Ductwork and Plumbing systems for the D-Cub project. The D-Cub will be a 100,000 ft mechanical support building providing facility utility requirements of the TDC building.

results

The CPD Team successfully set new standards for speed to delivery of Issued for Construction (IFC) documents, which were accompanied by a clash-free model, providing the opportunity to move immediately into fabrication and construction. This form of project delivery gave the owner an opportunity for a 4-month schedule gain.
